What Makes a BIMI Leader?

A perfect BIMI score of 100/100 means a domain has completed all four steps of email brand authentication:

DMARC Enforcement — A DMARC policy of p=quarantine or p=reject that tells receiving mail servers to act on authentication failures.
BIMI DNS Record — A TXT record at default._bimi.domain.com pointing to the brand's SVG logo and certificate.
Valid SVG Logo — An SVG Tiny 1.2 PS logo hosted over HTTPS, under 32KB, with no scripts or external references.
VMC or CMC Certificate — A Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) or Common Mark Certificate (CMC) from a trusted Certificate Authority like DigiCert, Entrust, or GlobalSign.

Companies with all four in place display their verified brand logo next to every email they send in Gmail, Apple Mail, Yahoo Mail, and other BIMI-supporting providers. This increases brand recognition, builds trust, and can improve email open rates.
